What we collect when you ask for a price, who it goes to, and how to get it removed.

Who we are

Reno Journal is operated by Fourdots Digital Inc. Questions about anything on this page go to hello@renojournal.co.

What we collect

If you fill in a form asking for a price, we collect the name, phone number, email address and ZIP code you enter, what you tell us you are interested in, and anything you write in the optional notes box.

We also record the advertisement you arrived from. That is a set of identifiers in the link you clicked — which ad, ad set and campaign, and the click identifier the advertising platform adds. It tells us which advertising is worth running. It does not tell us who you are.

What we do with it

Your details are passed to the remodeling company named on the page you filled the form in on, so they can call you and arrange the consultation you asked for. That is the purpose, and there is no other one.

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone other than that company and the service providers who store the record for us.

Advertising measurement

These pages carry the advertising platform's measurement tag, which reports back that a form was submitted so the advertiser can tell which advertising works. Where required, contact details included in that report are hashed before they are sent.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as the remodeling company needs them to deal with your enquiry and to meet its own record-keeping obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@renojournal.co and we will deal with it.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you and to request its deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising either. We do not sell personal information.
